Peugeot, in 2016, launched a range of new 2.0-litre diesels, offering improved power lower emissions.
Peugeot’s Boxer, sits with the Ford Transit, Volkswagen Crafter, Mercedes Sprinter, Renault’s Master and Peugeot’s two – erm….cousins? the Citroen Relay and Fiat Ducato.
The Peugeot has a bold look, and good interior design, and the lots more equipment. The engine line-up has been completely refreshed and a variety of modifications introduced to improve the Boxer’s durability.
The Boxer range is wide and varied, providing payload capacities between from 1,115kg up to 1,900kg. Load volumes go from 8 cubic metres in the L1 H1 (short wheelbase, low roof) model to 17 cubic metres in the L4 H3 (extra long wheelbase, high roof). Along with the panel vans Peugeot offer: chassis cabs, tippers, drop-side trucks and crew cabs, that can be adapted. All Boxers come in Standard or Professional trim levels.
The Peugeot Boxer has three 2.0-litre BlueHDi motors: 110hp, 130hp and a range-topping 160hp. Both of the 130hp and 160hp engines can be specified with Stop/Start.
People tend to go for the Boxer for to its higher specification, and there is always a featured model on offer every quarter offering even more value than the rest.
